Install the Zoom app

Harvard-Westlake uses Zoom as the primary platform for communication across laptops, office phones, and mobile devices. This guide explains how to download, install, and sign in to Zoom using your HW credentials.

This article walks you through setting up the Zoom app on your device and signing in with Single Sign-On (SSO) using your Harvard-Westlake domain.

Prerequisites

  • HW network access or internet connection

  • Active HW account with SSO credentials

  • Administrative access to install software (for laptops/desktops)

Steps

  1. Go to https://zoom.hw.com.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Download Client.

  3. Choose the download type and run the installer and complete the installation.

  4. Open the Zoom app.

  5. On the sign-in page, select Sign in with SSO.

  6. If the domain field is not automatically filled, type harvardwestlake manually.

  7. Follow the prompts to complete SSO authentication using your HW login credentials.

Once signed in, you can use Zoom for calls, meetings, and messaging across devices.
